97 live WA titles are more than a month late on rent, and 82 on a Form 5. Every title runs on its own calendar, and a book of them is a lot of dates to keep straight. Who owns WA's tenements? Every title, traced to its ASX owner
BHP, Rio Tinto and Fortescue hold no WA tenements in their own names. Their ground sits under subsidiaries, and the register only ever tells you who holds a title, never who owns the holder. We read the annual reports of every listed company with WA ground and traced each subsidiary back to its parent.
