Catalyst (Old Highway) Consolidates Bryah Basin Block as Albright Exits

Catalyst (Old Highway) Pty Ltd, the registered project vehicle understood to sit within the Catalyst Metals group, received 10 tenements this week from Albright Metals Ltd. According to company announcements, the transaction reflects Catalyst exercising an option to acquire Albright’s remaining 50% interest in the Bryah Basin tenements for A$2.2 million. Catalyst Metals has been building momentum in the mid-west: company announcements indicate it recently joined the S&P/ASX 200 and reported a doubling of Plutonic Gold Belt reserves to 1.5 million ounces. Adding full control of what company and geological reports describe as a copper-gold VMS corridor in the Bryah Basin extends that footprint. For Albright, the divestment reportedly frees capital for redeployment into its Canadian focus. According to company announcements, that priority is the Golden Pike Gold and Antimony Project in New Brunswick. The logic on both sides is straightforward: Catalyst gets contiguous ground in a belt it already understands, and Albright converts a non-operating WA interest into cash for a Tier-1 jurisdiction play.

Manda Resources Ltd Absorbs 27 WA Tenements Ahead of Reported QLD Gold Float

Manda Resources Ltd received 27 tenements this week from Manda Resources Pty Ltd, a transfer that appears, given the near-identical entity names, to be an intra-group restructure moving assets from the proprietary vehicle into the public company ahead of a listing. The parcel includes E69/3537, E69/3663, and E69/3722, which company project descriptions associate with the Lake Burnside Sulphate of Potash project in WA. The WA tenure is the legacy asset base; the growth story is in Queensland. According to company announcements, Manda is consolidating a gold resource in North Queensland through a demerger of Pacgold’s assets and an acquisition of Territory Minerals, with the combined resource reportedly reaching 1.33 Moz. Emerald Resources (ASX: EMR) is described in those announcements as a major backer, having injected approximately $6.4 million into a pre-IPO seed round and committed to hold around 19.9% post-listing. The targeted raise is reportedly $21 million, with a late-2026 listing window. Securing the WA tenements cleanly under the listed entity before the prospectus is finalised is standard pre-IPO housekeeping, and the registry transfer this week suggests that process is now underway.

Terrain Trims Three Blocks to Concentrate Capital on Carlindie Anomaly

Terrain Minerals Ltd shed three tenements this week, E45/6952, E45/6523, and E45/6894, under a single transaction. The move looks, on available evidence, like deliberate portfolio trimming rather than a broader retreat, with the company understood to be redirecting expenditure toward E45/6524, its core Carlindie block, according to company announcements. That focus is driven by technical work: company reports indicate independent machine-learning bedrock mapping by RSC validated a 4 x 3 km gold-pathfinder anomaly (As-Sb-Bi-W-Cs) beneath transported cover at Carlindie. A high-intensity point-source feature, with bismuth and tungsten reportedly an order of magnitude above background, was identified within that footprint. RSC’s modelling also interpreted the anomaly as spatially coinciding with an underlying greenstone belt, per the same technical reports. By dropping the peripheral blocks, Terrain avoids carrying expenditure commitments on ground that does not directly test the machine-learning target. According to company announcements, the next steps are a field reconnaissance planned for July 2026 and a follow-up CSIRO UltraFine+ soil program designed to drill-test the model. The three shed tenements represent the expenditure overhead that would otherwise compete with that budget.
