New on NextMaps: Tenement Intelligence Layers + Registry Data
Tenure Intelligence for WA Explorers
Tenement Intelligence Layers
We've added a new set of spatial layers under the Tenement Intelligence section of the layer panel. These are built from DMPE registry data and are designed to surface actionable signals across the WA tenement landscape:
- Active Forfeiture Notices: tenements subject to a current forfeiture notice (expenditure, rent, or reporting non-compliance)
- Distressed Tenements: a composite risk score across forfeiture, rent, expenditure, expiry pressure, and encumbrances
- Combined Reporting Groups: see how tenements pool their expenditure obligations, and which ones are carrying the load
- Expenditure Compliance: how each tenement is tracking against its minimum spend obligation
- Exploration Intensity: spend per hectare relative to peers, useful for spotting underloved ground
- Expiry Timeline, Ownership Age, and more

Registry Data in Datapack Reports
Datapack reports now include a full Register Intelligence section, pulling in the tenement's compliance history, expenditure and rent records, dealings, conditions, ownership history, and a risk/opportunity assessment. If you're doing due diligence on a specific tenement, it's worth generating a datapack to see the full picture.
As always, feedback is welcome, hit reply if anything looks off or you'd like to see something added.
