Nex Metals Explorations Ltd has agreed to transfer a 51% share in nine tenements, totalling 4,357 hectares in the Mt Morgans district of the Shire of Leonora, to Kym Mining Pty Ltd. The ground sits in the joint venture package around Murrin East, PAE 26 and Mt Kilkenny, and the buyer is the wholly owned vehicle used by Arika Resources Ltd for the transaction. Arika said the move was to consolidate 100% ownership of the Yundamindra and Kookynie gold projects in Western Australia.

Why it matters: It removes the remaining JV interest and gives Arika full control of the ground package.
